Pagan is a word first used around the 4th century. Its meaning has changed over the centuries and has been used as a derogatory word in its first uses by major religions as a meaning of false gods and considered an inferior belief. Today Pagan can most simply be defined as a belief other than the main world beliefs. This in itself can cover many different religions across the globe. Some of the religions included in Paganism are Wicca, Neo-Druidism, Heathenry as well as many other nature based spiritual paths.
