This Baphomet Statue is the perfect touch to add to your gothic style room or space. Baphomet is an early 14th century idol of a deity that the Knights Templar were suspect of worshiping, and that later was incorporated into contrasting occult and mystical customs. The modern representation of Baphomet is a goats head on a humans body. Between the goats horns is a torch and a pentagram on its forehead. The occultist and magician of the late 19th to mid-20th century, Aleister Crowley interpreted Baphomet as the “Divine Androgyne.” This statue shows Baphomet in his classic state sitting with his legs crossed upon the globe. He bears the Latin words SOLVE (separate) and COAGULA (join together) on his arms, a pentagram on his forehead and the flame of intelligence is shining in between his large horns. This piece has too many details to describe, and is made of cold cast bronze resin.
